Words are easy. I want to speak without them.
Idealist by nature and lover of many things. I am an artist, an interior designer, and a fashion illustrator. In my art I play with the balance of what is beautiful, brutal, natural, and unearthly. My art takes after the style of fashion editorials, avant-garde portraits laced with undertones of fashion illustration. They are modern, emotional, expressive. It is delicately personal- a compulsive craving to expose the raw pulse deep within us.
I grew up near Lake Tahoe, California. Since childhood I have had an unquenchable passion for painting, fashion, design, photography, and most importantly- people. I desire to capture them in a way that is unique, avant-garde, and curiously emotional. I consider my art to be a place where I can unearth and explore what is truly inside myself and others, making it easy for people to respond to and connect with.
During college I studied art and interior design at Colorado State University. There I started shaping my own artistic style and design aesthetic. An opportunity to design for the renowned international hotel interior design firm lead me back home to the West Coast. Working as a designer on top luxury hotels around the world, and traveling to places like New York and China have helped to further inspire my work as an artist. My art and interior design work can be seen throughout homes and spaces internationally. My art and illustrations have been feature collaborations and campaigns with top stylists, fashion and jewelry designers such as Armani and Vanessa Mooney, and prominent writers, bloggers, and faces of fashion.
